A used 6th or 7th gen i5 or i7 will be a pretty good upgrade. It wont be a mind blowing upgrade so if buying a second hand i5 or i7 make sure you're getting your moneys worth otherwise a new mobo and cpu would be next either if it would be a ryzen 5 or intel core i5 if you have the money for new. My recommendation would be a new ryzen 2600/3600 if intel a i5-8400 or something along those lines. A 1050ti will work with those new cpus but will require lower graphics and is most recommended to be upgraded also if getting a new cpu

Welcome to the forums my friend!
Why exactly do you want to upgrade the CPU?

The G4560 is an excellent price to performance CPU and there's probably not too much more you could go without the 1050 Ti becoming a limitation if your main purpose is gaming.

So, what would you suggest upgrading my gpu to as well then?

get i5-6600 or i5-7600. my friend told me nowadays its best to use quad-core or higher core count for modern games.

dont waste your money on "K" processors as your motherboard cant do overclocking.

correct me if im wrong :)
