what is the best voltage for a 4.3ghz oc on 3770k

Solution
Yes, I'm 24/7 stable. I hit maybe 80C at 100% intel burn test. You won't see above 60 in any gaming scenario most likely.

Do a google search for "asus rog 3770k overclocking guide". There is one on the ROG forums about doing an OC on a Maximus Formula board. Settings are almost identical to your board.

Just remember each chip is different, and you may need more/less voltage.
All chips are different. There is no magic number. You simply have to use trial an error for your particular CPU. OC, test, results... rinse and repeat. There are guides that can steer you in the right direction, but what you end up is determined by your unique chip

Look... They told you what you're going to hear...

What motherboard do you have? What cooler are you using? I run 4.8GHz and I've never hit 75C. That's because I have a custom liquid cooled loop...

For 4.3GHz, you probably won't need more than 1.25V. I'd say start there, and see if you're stable. If you are, back it down until you're not. Then bump it back up 0.01V and make super sure you're stable. You'll find the sweet spot for your specific chip, mobo, etc.

Best of luck

Asus maximus v gene and corsair h100i

Right now, I'm running 4.7Ghz at 1.24V on my 3770k as I type this. You have a very similar board. I'd wager you could hit 4.3 at 1.8 without issues.

You have a great setup for that chip. Start testing. You won't blow it out! The OC game is guess and test.

So the setup you have is it 24/7 safe? and with a corsair h100i whats the max tem u think il hit with your setup?
