My floors are near impenetrable for wifi, and my adsl cable comes out the wall downstairs. (RJ11) I used the throughput that was built into the house, however that has been causing me a lot of trouble due to the cable length. So, according to my provider, I should keep the router downstairs, and get a cable upstairs and use that. (to connect a wifi modem to)
What are my best options? Things I thought of myself:
-Using a Ethernet over the powergrid connector. (con: costly, speed unknown)
-Trying to get ethernet through RJ11 connectors? (If one won't work, I've got two next to each other)
