Hi,

I just got a brand new Dell system with P4 D 3.00 GHz, 250 GB HDD & 2 GB DDR2 RAM .

I prefer to have as many partitions as possible to sort my data.

But I do not want to compromise the speed & performance at the expense of too many partitions.

What is the best way to partition & what is the maximum no of partitions should I have before I start compromising the performance?

Thanks
Greg

You can use Symantec's Norton PartitionMagic™ 8.0
in my opinion its the best software to customize your HDD
