[SOLVED] What is the best way to transfer storage and settings from one PC to another?

Simply put, if I were to buy a new PC and wanted to transfer all of my storage from the old PC to the new one, what would be the best way to do this? I know using hard drives is a method, but I can imagine that would be rather tedious with 1 TB storage. By extension, is there even a way to transfer settings? Meaning info like dark mode for the taskbar and the personalization?

If you connect both PCs to your Microsoft account, most of desktop settings will be transferred. As for storage - connect them (wired Ethernet) together, copy stuff, come tomorrow
