Question what is the cause of black screen is it the psu?motherboard?or the gpu?

i just bought nvidia 210 for my g41 express but when i installed the gpu and plug the vga in it the monitor shows no signal is . but i just remember that i only have a 9 year old psu which is 270 watts . what is the best thing to do? buy a new psu with 400 watts?
