What is the cheapest way to convert an 80 pin SCSI drive to either SATA or USB?

Hello!

I recently obtained several SCSI 80 pin drives. I want to sell them, but before I do I want to determine the state (broken, used, new), and if they have any data on them. I am trying to find an adapter that will let me read the drives via either SATA or USB and perform a SMART test. I found this, but it is way out of my budget ATM for something I'll only use a few times ever.

One Possibility I found was to convert the 80pin to something smaller like a 68 or 50 pin and go from there, but I can't find the specific products I'd use yet.

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know, thanks!

OK so i though you had made a new post when really you didn't XD but my 2 cents.

This card will work. i have it and have a modified driver for it to work on Windows 7+

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adaptec-SCSI-Adapter-Controller...

get that and then get this adapter

https://www.amazon.com/SCA-80-PIN-SCSI-ADAPTER/dp/B0058...

and then get a 68 pin cable unless you have one.
