What is the cpu suppose to be at

Hello,
my gateway laptop keeps shutting down only when i play games like cityville on facebook. it doesnt do it on any other site or just on fb but when i start playing the game sometimes it will go half hour and shut down then i have to turn it back on and then it does it again. have no idea about computers and cant really afford too much to get it looked at. plz help!! thanks
