Not quite good enough a comparison. If I am reading things correctly, the 3000D is slightly wider which means you have a little more room for water cooling radiators. IE they specifically call out that you can install a 280mm in the top of the 4000D if you use low profile memory.

The 4000D is also slightly taller.

Only major reason to pick between them that I can find.

Surprised Corsair don't have a thing on their site that lets you compare both, they have all the specs after all. They have calculators for what PSU you need, why nothing for cases
