what is the difference between 1920×1080 and 1366x768 on a 14 inch laptop ?

what is the difference between 1920×1080 and 1366x768 on a 14 inch laptop ? will it impact on gaming , i often play graphic intensive games . does the more resolution mean more sharpness and brightness or the other way around ?
also the 1920×1080 is almost a 150$ more expensive .

the graphics card i am getting is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M/4GB

for a tiny screen like 14" I would probably go with the 1366x768. It will also be easier on the hardware besides beign easier on your eyes.

1920x1080 means more sharpness, but it also means stressing out the GPU more... and for a 14" screen, I personally don't see the point.
