Only difference is gold uses less electricity to convert to 12volt DC than Bronze. Quality is dependent on how good the parts are that are used to make the power supply. Gold/Bronze is only an efficiency rating and not indicative of overall quality. If the computer runs all the time a Gold rated PSU will save a small amount on electricity cost over the Bronze.

Its just the difference in the efficiency, however, in order to meet the gold efficiency standards, typically higher quality parts are used. Quality really depends on the exact model. Some bronze units are higher quality then some gold units.
