What is the difference between RAM?

So what is the difference between ram such as Samsung ddr3 to like corsair vengeance, am i just paying 4 the name or is there a performance difference?

let say it is both ddr3 1600 MHz CL9 well yeah it's just name. Quality Ram would allow you a more stable overclocking experience and faster ram would boost gaming performance by 3 % or so.

ram is ram there no big difference at all talking about less than 1 fps in gaming so just get which one looks better or cheaper

All ram manufacturers get their ram from major producers, like hynix , samsung etc. all these companies do is add a fancy heatsink and ship it off as their own, so no, not much difference
