[SOLVED] What is the difference between ryzen 3600 - 3600X - 3600XT?

Solution
3600:
  • 65W TDP
  • 4.2GHz Max boost clock
  • Wraith Stealth cooler
3600X:
  • 95W TDP
  • 4.4GHz Max boost clock
  • Wraith Spire cooler
3600XT
  • 95W TDP
  • 4.5GHz Max boost clock
  • Wraith Spire cooler
Really depends on how much manual tweaking you want to do. Generally, PBO will work within the limits set by the TDP, so that's why you see the 3600X having a slightly higher boost clock compared to the 3600. However, you can override the TDP pretty easily within the mobo BIOS to achieve likely the same results as a 3600X. The 3600XT would be a higher-binned product, which is why they can sqweak out the massive 100MHz higher frequency!!!....

TL;DR - Buy a 3600 unless you see equal/lower price of a 3600X/XT.
