Since the first one is 500 Mbps and the second one is 600 Mbps I would have thought the 600 Mbps one would be more but it is the other way around, I am planning on buying one of these should I buy the 600 Mbps one or is there something better about the 500 Mbps one that I am missing?

Solution
Do not think it so much a matter of what you are missing but what is "missing" overall.

It appears to me that the product information presented via Amazon is somewhat mixed up with respect to all factors: e.g., technical, marketing, photographs, etc..

My suggestion is that you go directly to TP-Link's website and compare the products directly. Be sure to look at the respective User Guides/Manuals to see what differences may be revealed. Visit TP-Link's Forum and FAQs also - you may gain even more insight regarding any differences between the two products.
