There are codes and standards for residential electrical wiring. Speaker wire is not that.

without offending, for you to ask that means you would be real smart to just call an electrician. Hanging a ceiling fan is not like putting in a light box - hung improperly, you'll find it on the floor one day, hopefully when no one is standing under it
