What is the Difference?

I want to compare Seagate 3tb (ST3000DM001) 64mb sata and Seagate 4tb (ST4000DM000) 64mb sata. aside from their space the 3TB has a 7200 RPM and the 4TB has only 5900 RPM would that affect the performance especially in gaming because that is my priority in buying a larger space for storage. Oh and is there such thing as Seagate 4tb with a 7200 RPM ?

You'd feel the difference when starting the game, but on actual gameplay, no. At that point, its all system and GPU memory.

Well , can I have your opinion (If ever you're a gamer)? If you were to choose between those two what would you choose? and why?
Or should I just look for a 4TB with 7200pm that cost more than the one that has a 5900 RPM?

I'd get the one with the bigger capacity and is within my budget. IMO, the difference in speed between the two (while yes, it is noticeable), isn't really that big of a deal since they're both mechanical drives.

If you want true performance gains, get an SSD for installing the OS and games (or at least the ones you play often), then get an HDD for everything else.

Like I said though, this only accounts for the loading times when you start the game. Beyond that, you won't really see a difference between a 5000 rpm, 7000 rpm, or an ssd

Btw my specs are

Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
AMD FX-8320E
GTX 970 Palit Jetstream Edition
8GB RAM
650W PSU

I do have the necessary budget for both but not on a 4TB 7200 RPM because it cost way much more than those two so my final request is can I have a survey on which should I buy because I'm planning on buying it tomorrow and I don't wanna regret my decision. Thanks Cheers!!

Update: I'm just gonna buy a 3TB HDD then buy a 250GB SSD for OS,programs and such. Any kind or manufacturer of SDDs is still faster than an HDD right or does anyone here has a prefer brand for a SDD because "I just got lucky" and my old PC just got sold and now I have more budget.

That's great that you're able to fit an SSD in your budget, definitely better than any 7200 rpm drive. Crucial's BX100 is a very affordable 250GB SSD right now, but if it would still fit in your budget, I personally recommend the Samsung 850 EVO.

I'll just choose Samsung 850 EVO , oh and I told my friend about my story in HDDs and SSDs and he told me that I should buy a two Samsung 850 EVO 120gb and raid 1 it. Will it be faster against a single Samsung 850 EVO Series 250gb (what will be the difference between these two)because I can't seem to find a video out there that shows how fast raid 1 SSDs in bootup and etc.. If ever I were to choose the raid 0 how high is the possibility of it to fail? I know the raid 1 is more reliable but I'm just concern if it has a big difference between speed in raid 0. Silly me though cause I want a fast bootup I don't know why but I really enjoy it LOL. Thanks!!!
