What is the Eyefinity equivilent for Nvidia?

Hi guys,

I currently have 2 radeon 5800's in crossfire and i use eyefinity within the Catalyst program to run 3 screens.

I am in the process of speccing out a new pc, and its looking likely that i will be moving away from Radeon (which i hadnt done in years) and getting a 780TI for my new rig.

My question is, how would i go setting up multiple monitors if i am no longer using Cataylst?

I know that it obviously can be done, but since ive only really ever been in the radeon camp, i have no clue how. Any help would be appreciated.. thanks!

Nvidia has Vision Surround and 3D Vision Surround for multi-monitor configs:

starting with kepler nvidia gpu able to use 4 monitor at the same time

So, from what i can see, it seems pretty similar to eyefinity.

Would you say its more or less difficult to set up, or about the same?

And it is like catalyst where you download it (and latest versions of it) when you update your drivers? What i mean is, when i go to update my drivers currently from radeon's site, i usually get the latest drivers bundled up with the latest catalyst, which runs resident on my desktop.

Yes. You can go to Nvidia and download the drivers directly and install. All the tools needed are in the Nvidia Control Panel (much like Catalyst).

just go to geforce.com to get the latest driver. the driver package will include everything but you can choose not to install some of the driver component if you did not use it like 3D Vision drivers or Geforce Experience software.
