Hey guys, I was wondering, what is PC3-12800H? I have some ram on my PC that I got from best buy, I am replacing it soon, but I was curious as to what the heck the H is for? My Gskill that can do 2400 only shows PC3-12800 at it's current speed.

Believe the PNY stick just has the H added as a designator for the model as shows there, it's a true 1600 stick. The GSkill is a true 2400 stick though not going to be able to run 2400 when paired with a lower end stick such as the PNY 1600. Max Bandwidth as shown in CPU-Z is nothing more than the default boot data rate if a mobo supports it. To run the GSkill at 2400 (if your mobo and CPU can run it) will have to be run by itself, then you need to go into BIOS and enable XMP set to profile 1
