Hey guys how are you,I hope everything is alright....Anyway my issue is that my beloved i5, which was apparently a gift, has been damaged horribly by the actions of my younger cousin and i'm left with a Core 2 duo e7400 2.80GHz....there's no hope of another PC for like next 2 months....its a shame that it happened right after my exams just ended and i have free time but no PC to play games....Anyway i'll save my emotional story...my question is that which graphic card can this core 2 duo run. I mean i have to wait for 2 months straight for a new PC so i have to use this for the time being ...the true nature of my question is: "does processor matters for graphic card?"....if so which decent card can it run...Can it run a GTX

Thanks....

There are a number of GTX cards made by Nvidia since it's conception with a GTX200 series. Currently we're on the GTX1000 series. Sadly for you, you can only go as far up as a GTX650 GPU but you'll most likely suffer from issue with your PSU not being able to power the entire system and ofc you will suffer from a CPU bottleneck. Anything higher than a GTX600 series card and you'll also suffer from an incompatible BIOS environment.

Now, when you asked about compatibility, you forgot to state what it should find compatibility with, i.e your full system's specs for the Core 2 Duo system. Please list them as:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
