Hello,
I am currently looking in to buying a new Video Card for my PC, and currently looking at two cards which are:
- ASUS ENGTX560 DCII OC/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card ($169.99)
or
- ASUS ENGTX560 TI DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card ($209.99)
Now, ive written down the specs of both cards comparing and contrasting them on a piece of paper, and in the end the differences between the 2 are as followed
First Card ($169.99):
Core Clock Speed - 850 MHz
Shader Clock Speed - 1700 MHz
CUDA Cores - 336
Second Card ($209.99):
Core Clock Speed - 900 MHz
Shader Clock Speed - 1800 MHz
CUDA Cores - 384
Now, everything between the cards are identical, but there is at least a $40 difference between the two cards, and I guess what my question is: Is it really worth the extra $40 to get the second card, and will there that much of a difference between the performance levels?
