[SOLVED] What is the ideal temperature for a Video Card and a CPU?? How long can the PC be turned on without casing any damage?

Guys I need some advice with my Gaming PC I got it last year but I don't know how to take care of it properly so seriously any help would be appreciated

These are my specs
CPU: intel i7-8700k
GPU: Asus Rog GeForce Strix GTX 1080 ti 11GB

As a general rule I don't let my CPU go beyond 55ºC and neither my GPU go any further than 65ºC. I also limit the amount of time I have the computer on with a no more than 10 hours a day rule and after I turn it off, I just leave it off for at the very least 5 hours.
Is this a good approach or it is too much?? I just want my PC to last as much as possible, Let just say it was a very, very special gift.

Under 80C for both the CPU & GPU is fine so the temps your getting are plenty safe.

Under 80-85c is ideal. Usually around 95-100c is where damage occurs and the components will start to throttle.

As above and you can leave it on as long as you want if it's in good working order. I can't even remember the last time I turned my PC off. Eventually I will have to just to clean the dust out of it.
