im doing a long time needed upgrade from a e8400 to even a fx8320 or the intel equivalence also needing to buy a good motherboard so any suggestion would be appreciated.money is my main problem so i was wanting to find out how much im going to need to save up.

There is no real equivalent as intel cpu's single core performance is better than amd. You can find some equivalent in performance, but always there will be individual differences because the lower end intel, which perform about the same as the fx8320 are quad cores, compared to the 8 core fx 8320. Also benchmarks change when the cpu's are being overclocked.
Here are some benchmarks to compare:

so out of all the intel and amds proccesors witch do you think would be best for me.

The intel is a dual core but is a better performer in single core compared to the amd. But both builds will perform about the same, except where programs/games really make use of all cores of the amd. Most games still make use of only 1-2 cores.
