Question What is the latest (best) DVI video cards, nvidia 1080ti last one?

Ive looked everywhere for the best and latest one. Does the dvi work on the 1080ti it looks like its higher than where the graphic card connects to the dvi port

You can buy a adapter for any video signal to another.
HDMI/DP to VGA/DVI is going to cost you more than a normal vga to dvi adapter.

Is there a reason why you need DVI? You can get buy with an HDMI to DVI converter which as far as I know, are still passively compatible up to 1080p 60Hz.

the 2070 founders edition had dvi. but that's pretty close to the 1080ti.

you are much better off getting an adapter for whatever card you end up with (or whatever you have now already)

it's a terrible time to buy a gpu, much less to try to find a high end one with niche outputs. that's gonna really cost you!!

Hmm... ive tried the dp to dvi adapter and the screen was all red and fuzzy.

I ordered a hdmi adapter to dvi or dvi to hdmi I mean. maybe that will work its on a dell 34" w0014 i think monitor.

Probably a bad adapter, we have a lot of DP to DVI adapters from several brands I used at work and no issues with them.

i've used many various adapters as well. not had any issues but i also do not buy the cheapest thing i can find either. i avoid the $3 junk and spend $10 or so for quality from a known brand.

Don't reverse the adapters, you need DP to DVI not DVI to DP if your video card has the DP port. DVI to DP would be DVI on the video card to display port on the monitor, there is a difference there.

The connection will be the same for DP and HDMI but DP to DVI is a lot easier to find.
