[SOLVED] What is the max resolution a Lenovo ThinkBook 15-IIL laptop can provide an external monitor with?

Laptop:
ThinkBook 15-IIL - Type 20SM
Serial Number: LR0EMK8J
Machine Type: 20SM

Currently, I have connected a (very) old, LG 22EA53 with the following display information:
Desktop mode: 1920x1080, 59,94Hz
Bit depth: 8-bit
Color format: RGB
Color space: SDR

What I would like to do is connect a 24'' monitor with a better resolution. The goal is to have more desktop space. If I connect an external monitor what is the maximum screen resolution provided by the laptop's integrated graphics (Intel Iris Plus) ?

Hey there,

Your iGPU supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2304@60Hz on HDMI. I'm not sure about the ALT mode USB C connector you have. It could go up to 5120 x 3200@60Hz, but I'm not sure of the functionality.

Just to clarify, does it mean it supports 2K @ 60Hz via HDMI?

30Hz is way too low (for the eyes)
