What is the max temperature for a R9 290x?

So I currently own a Gigabyte R9 290x Windforce OC and was wondering what the MAX temperature it should run at while playing games.

NO more then 85-90 C. this is pretty much the hottest it can get without TERRIBLY effect the lifespan of the card, but i would run it at least under 80 at max load. the 290x is known to be a hot card, so be careful.

No higher than 75°C at any time. GPUs throttle at 80°C... the Gigabyte Windforce should not really reach 75, but it depends on the case, airflow around it, PSU exhaust direction... If you OC it will also increase the temp.
