what is the maximum RAM in msi a68hm e33 MOBO?

Solution

The only officially supported stick of 16GB of RAM is the IMM2G64D3DUD8AG-B15E. It runs at a frequency of 1333MHz and it's very expensive and hard to find. For more information click the link. http://www.msi.com/support/mb/A68HM-E33.html#support-mem Other memory might work but buy it at your own risk. The RAM is located here https://squareup.com/market/MemphisElectronicRetail You would need to buy 2 of them for 32GB. It will cost you over $600 and I do not recommend buying it.

I need to ask though. Why do you want that much RAM?

i am just planning to upgrade my ram because games nowadays are getting bigger requirements of ram, by the way thanks for the help.

If you're having trouble running games it's probably your CPU and/or Graphics card that's holding you back not the RAM. Socket FM2+ CPU's are pretty slow and will bottleneck any high end graphics card. I know some games such as Star Wars Battlefront are recommending 16GB of RAM but if the rest of your system doesn't meet the recommended requirements as well then having more RAM isn't going to do much good because a weak CPU or a weak graphics card will bring the rest of your system down with it.

what if i will use gtx960 nad a8 5600k quadcore? can i play those games? like battlefront?

im planning to buy a new psu and i want to use between the 2 gpu, i realy wan to buy a cheap psu with 1x6pins and 1x8pins because thre is no stock with those high end gpu in our country, i live in philippines

i have some problem with that because r9 380 uses 2x6pins, and i think i will just use a molex to 6pins so that i can have a 2x6pins

is it okay?

How much are you planning to spend on a power supply and the graphics card altogether? A cheap power supply might not be enough. If you plan on sticking with a cheap power supply a GTX 950 or 750 ti might be best. Tell me how much you're spending in your own currency.

maybe 2000 to 3000
70$
