I have:
I5 3340,3.1 GHz CPU
GTX 960 WINDFORCE 2X OC 2 GB vRAM
RAM 8 GB

I want to know what is the maximum and best resolution for my GPU that will make me able to run the upcoming games of 2016 on high settings???

Solution
the card itself can go up to 4K, for basic stuff (like windows desktop) but game play is best at 1080p. the 960 2 GB can run almost every current game at 1080p at ultra.
The 960 is definitely a card thats sweet spot is 1080p. You can go much higher on the resolutions but you will not get very good performance especially with only 2 gb VRAM. You will be able to play most current and upcoming games at 1080p medium-high settings depending on how much VRAM the game consumes. If you try to go higher like say up to 1440p you would not be able to play at good settings simply due to how much vram higher quality graphics resolutions take up.
I hope this answers your question! :)

You may have played that game at high texture settings but did you have your after affects up high. And it is recommended for ULTRA settings (which is every setting including after effects at max) (which your computer would not be able to do) that you have 4 gb.

Digital max resolution 4096 X 2160
Analog max resolution 2048 x 1536

2gb vs 4gb gtx 960

thing is even with the small benefits of having a 4gb card the price difference between them is small so why go 2gb to start with ? then at least you got it not wishing you had ??

He already has teh 2GB version...purchasing a 4GB to replace his existing 2GB would be a waste of money
