[SOLVED] What is the maximum size of monitor that I can use for my PC?

I have a

Intel i5 7th Gen 3Ghz
Nvidia GTX 1050Ti
8 GB RAM
64bit x64 based processor
and am currently using a Samsung 18.5 inch (measured diagonally) monitor, having a display resolution of 1366 x 768
This is for the purpose of gaming (assume heavy gaming with recently released games)

I am looking for smooth gameplay with the maximum monitor size considering the hardware that I have.

I would say that it is more about resolution than monitor size, although there is at least somewhat of a correlation between the two. I suggest you buy a 1080p monitor, for it will deliver your desired smooth gameplay at an affordable price. 1080p monitors are usually 24 or 27 inches. Of course, there are larger monitors, but many have a stretched resolution (for example 2560x1080). Stretched resolutions are occasionally banned in competitive play (Fortnite is known for this), resulting in black bars on the sides of your screen. So, a 1920x1080p monitor should be what you are looking for, try not to pay much attention to 2560x1440p monitors or higher because they cause a bad gameplay experience (lower frames per second) considering your system's components.

now you have a 720p monitor that is 1366x768, you need to watch for 1080p that is 1920x1080 (16:9)
720p is HD ,1080p is FULL HD
