Question What is the most powerful CPU that an Aorus x470 Gaming Elite motherboard can reasonable handle?

I have an Aorus x470 Gaming Elite motherboard, it came with a Ryzen 7 2700 CPU and a 700W PSU, and currently has a Ryzen 7 5700X in it.

Being realistic, what's the most powerful CPU that I can put in it it if I don't plan on overclocking?

I've heard conflicting reports regarding problems with VRMS getting too hot.

Are there any other limiting factors that I should know about?
