What is the most similar resolution to 1280x720?

Hello I recently picked up civ 5 and there is no option for a 1280x720 (which is what my monitor is) so what is the most similar resolution to 1280x720? i've tried many different ones and everything that isnt 720 doesnt fit on screen such as 768 it's just off screen.

You can always scale the resolution down, or on your monitor set the H and W size down to fit on screen.

1280x720 is a 16:9 aspect ratio, so you could try other 16:9 aspect ratio (1920x1080)... but your video card is essentially going to render a frame at that resolution, then have to re-scale it to fit it on your monitor. It won't look very good. Your best bet might just be to cycle through the resolutions in the list until you find one that you can tolerate and take the performance hit for no real gain, or upgrade your monitor.
