I am buying a bare bones computer for my friend and adding a PSU, GFX card and SSD but I don't know what the size motherboard is and what size GFX cards can fit in it. The computer is ACER Veriton X2640G

It's a very small case with very poor cooling. PSU included is only 220W.
It supports low profile, single slot width graphics cards and not very long ones, because sata ports will be interfering.

Don't buy that system, as it uses a non-standard SFF power supply and strange DTX motherboard (essentially a Mini-ITX with an extra expansion slot).

The fastest single-slot low-profile graphics card is also the rather sad 55w HD7750/R7-250.

If you want an upgradeable computer, choose one with a standard ATX (or MicroATX) motherboard and PSU that fits full-height cards.

I wouldn't waste your money on that if your planning to right off drop more into a upgrade. The PSU is a SFF and hard to find as well as being expensive. Your also limited to low profile GPU's preferably passively cooled because of the very bad air flow.

I know I'd rather build one. His dad didn't trust me to build it so I thought I would just upgrade this one but I could find a picture of the inside. So thank you to SkyNetRising for showing the inside. But I found a cheap CyberTronPC that I could replace the GFX card, PSU and add a SSD
