What is the official safe temp for a Vega 56? Anyone know?

I tried asking in the sticky but got nothing.

I'm running a MSI Vega 56 Air Boost OC and I have seen a temp as high as 80c.

Is this safe?

I did try to find the official safe temp online but found a lot of different answers so I'm not real sure what to go with.

Thanks for any info given.

Anything, <85C won't damage the card. 80C or less is probably within the card's target temp setting (my RX480 target temp is 75C) If you're running GPUz and either fans aren't at 100% @ 80C and/or GPU frequency isn't dipping at 80C, that means the card is still functioning "normally". Once the clock speeds start to dip, that's the card preventing itself from overheating because the fan(s) can't keep the card cool enough. At that point, you can either improve case airflow and/or manually undervolt the GPU to save power/heat. The stock voltage curve is typically offset by +50mV or so.
