[SOLVED] What is the optimum GPU to pair with an I9-9900KS?

Hi, Guys

I am upgrading a system to be used primarily gaming, but also CAD and rendering and acting as the host for my LAN. The type of games I am interested in are Elden Ring, Fortnight, GTA, Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

I am limited to an 1151 socket so I will be using the 'best available' CPU for that socket: an I9-9900KS. That will give me 8 cores all running at a turbo-boost of 5.0 GHz and 16 threads.
RAM: 64 GB
System Drive: 4 TB m.2 nvme
Monitor max resolution: 3440 x 1440 @ 144Hz
Current GPU: PNY RTX3060

I believe my current GPU will not be optimum for my usage case and CPU. I will pull the trigger on a new one within the next few weeks (The last piece of the upgrade to acquire.)

What (and why) would yall suggest I buy?

IMO, considering your monitor, it would appear you are ready for as much as you can afford.

a 4070ti would be a good match. The 9900k would still give 90+fps in most games and G-Sync will take care of the rest.

I upgraded from a i9 9900k @5ghz paired with an Asus Tuff 3080 12gig and they worked well together on a 55in LG C2.
