Question What is the problem in my pc?

Few months ago my hard [drive] suddenly went dead . That was my new pc build . I replaced it with a new one. Almost a month ago that too started failing and got dead. A week ago i bought a new one and yesterday it also started failing but till now i can access the data. Plz help me identify the problem with my pc and fix it.Thank You.

Not too knowledgeable about hard drives, but maybe your hdd is stored on a plate that is vibrating, causing errors when reading/writing to it (because the reader head is very sensitive to movement).

And since you said you have a cheap psu, this might as well be it providing inconsistent power to your hard drives, which would explain why they fail one by one, but again this is only speculation from my side.

Could be the power supply, you also said "new PC build" but the parts are all pretty old, if you are using old data cables you can try new cables. Are the drives you are getting new or used?

A bad choice for any PC build in my opinion. Definitely suspect.

My first guess would also be the garbagey power supply.

How is everything new? These are parts from 2008.
