What is the purpose of a USB output on the back of my monitor? (not input)

My monitor has two usb inputs... to plug in a mouse/KB.. but theres also a USB OUTPUT... I can't really think of a reason for it.

*edit. Misread monitor as motherboard. This makes a lot more sense now. One port feeds the USB signal from your Motherboard in to the hub on the monitor, the out is ports you plug your USB device in to.


From the PC USB to the monitor USB IN.
Then connect other USB devices to the monitor USB ports.

Basically, just a USB hub built into the monitor case.
