Dear Sir,

1)What is the use BBU with Raid controller & how many places to save raid information -Mother board -raid controller - BBU- & HDD....How to backup raid information..

2) If I lost raid info >>?? How to recover data ???

The BBU (battery backup unit) provides power to the RAID controller during an unexpected power off. It will maintain cache data that has not been written to disk. It will supply 24+ hours of power to the cache on the RAID controller.

Backups from a RAID array are usually handled on an external USB drive or network storage.

What "raid info" are you worrying about losing? The configuration of the RAID or the data on the RAID?
