What is the user manual utilities driver cd?

Hi i just bought a MSI GE60 from Amazon stating that it was a 64 bit computer. I recently downloaded a few programs and noticed they are all at 32 bit for some reason. With the computer came a cd saying user manual utilities driver. What is this? Will running it make my computer a 64 bit? I dont want to run it and ruin my computer (5 days old) Thanks!

the CD contains the User manual, utilities, and drivers. As its a laptop they should be installed already.

Almost all programs are 32 bit only. It has nothing to do with the computer being 64bit. That simply means it CAN run 64 bit programs and address more memory.

That cant be it. On my other computer camtasia was 64 bit, so was elgato, minecraft, and ksp.

Click Start, right click computer, select properties, it will tell you if you are running 32-bit or 64-bit windows.
