I'm just curious. What do you think is the worst X86 CPU sold in a new computer?
I think some Chromebooks and Windows laptops come with the Intel Celeron N3060.
It has 2 cores and turbos to 2.6ghz. It is even based on 14nm. Sounds ok, but in reality, it gets beat by 10% by a Celeron E1400. The Celeron E1400 is 11 years old, has 2 cores at 2ghz, and is based on the 65nm Conroe architecture. And it still beats the N3060 by a fair margin.
How does the E1400 win? It's sooo much older, has the same amount of cores, and a lower clock speed. It still wins, how?
