What is this button with the "redo" symbol above it? It is blinking red really randomly. What is it?

The button is reset, the led is hard drive activity..

Tbh I find the hard drive activity lights annoying, a lot of cases don't have them nowadays because they don't really serve any purpose.

If it bothers you disconnect the hdd led jumpers from the front panel header on your motherboard.
my coolermaster haf x tower has a button similar to that it is under a sliding flap so that children with itchy fingers can press it.

Mine does not have a flickering light on , maybe the flickering light is indicating that you hard drive is doing something.

The idea behind the button is this ..... lets suppose your pc crashes and everything locks up , normally you would have to do a hard reset , by that i mean hold the power button in to turn the pc off.

That button will do a restart just as if you had pressed the restart button on the windows icon bottom left.
