Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out what to do with this cable. It's labeled as molex on one end but doesn't look like the molex I know. The other end is 4 sata cables. My assumption was this would add sata cables perhaps for hard drives or something?

Any help is appreciated!

I got it in a box with a used EVGA SR-2 board.

According to page 13 of the manual, that is exactly what that cable/adapter is for.

Oops I didn't realize the images didn't come thru. It's actually not on the list on that page at all which would lead me to believe it goes to something else. I think I found a raid card in the same box. I'll get the images up here in a minute. Thanks for your help!

Thanks 😀 yeah as soon as I saw that card I assumed I stumbled on the answer :ouch:

I have a matching pair of X5680's - I tend to overdo things. I am going to dual boot OS X and WIndows 10 on this machine but snagged a good deal on the board and some misc. parts so a heck of alot cheaper than an iMac. I am a graphic designer and audio engineer so some software tends to be mac proprietary...

Thanks again for your help!
