[SOLVED] What is this connector in my car?

I've wondered for a while what this connector is and what it is for.

I think it might be aux for the stereo but I'm not sure. Would be preferable to the lighter plug connector I have to use instead.

I genuinely cannot for the life of me find a plug that looks like this connector anywhere.

I don't have the manual for the car btw.

Help would be greatly appreciated :).

I think you are right and I'm wrong. That port is 'keyed' at the bottom. USB ports don't have that.
Could be a proprietary implementation of a USB port, as well. Looks like this might be part of a removable faceplate (security feature?) that many aftermarket stereos use.

Once the OP gives us a bit more info, we might be able to ascertain more regarding the port.
