[SOLVED] What is this cord?

Hi all,

I just got the new relatively new iCue 5000x RGB case from Corsair. My build is fairly old, but I’ve upgraded over time. The case comes with a cord I’ve not seen before and I don’t have a port on my motherboard. What is this for? Can I go without it?

well, it doesn't show as an accessory, where does the other end lead to?

That would likely be the USB Type-C connector.

I would assume that your case has a Type-C port in front? That cable connects to a header on your motherboard (if available).

Yes, I followed it and it led to USB-C port. Thanks guys! Hopefully I won’t need it.

It is definitely a Type-C cable.
