So i found this little guy rolling around in my computer case but im not sure whats its from, the computer seems to be running okay and i have no idea how long this has been disconnected for i have no way to take a picture to upload somewhere but it is siver and has two tiny legs at the bottom its cylinder shaped and on the top it says
10
16s.
2y0
and looks sort of like this https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=16s+capacitor&client=firefox-b-ab&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjGlZLc_qzOAhXEXhoKHbbJCb8Q_AUICSgC&biw=1680&bih=941#imgrc=NtPcm56eY_AWJM%3A
Is it dangerous to be using my computer with this disconnected?

It sounds like a capacitor (10uF, 16v, 20%) and has likely come from the motherboard. Depending on what circuit it was used in, it could cause damage to other components by being gone. If the motherboard is under warranty, you might want to RMA it.
