Without context, it looks like an IR blaster. A device hooked into a Roku, or RF remote to provide infrared remote control commands to a device. But that is just a guess.

Well i really do not know i got it randomly shipped with some stuff i ordered.

I have seen those with some cable boxes and some remote control devices, usually the 1/8" jack plugs into the device and the other end is a infrared receiver.

if you told us what you ordered maybe we can make more sense of it

May appear to have been randomly shipped.....

However, what you ordered could be a clue.

I am in agreement with The Paladin - does appear to be an IR that comes with some cable boxes or a set of those wireless transmitter/receiver boxes that can be used when a coax cable cannot be run through a room. Just an extender for IR port.

99% certain that's an IR receiver. I've used one on an occasion or two. For remote controls/TV Tuner cards/etc...
