Question What is this light ray in the bottom left corner of my monitor?

I've had this MSI laptop since February, and have had nothing but issues. The main HDD died within a couple months, and MSI said they couldn't do anything (all I have is the SDD to work with). Now I have this ray in the left corner of the monitor. It's like a sprite flaring from the bottom.

P.S, Nevermind the computers specs. That engine is long dead.

Edit: In near 2020, why can I not simple C&P a picture from the PC gallery into the text box? Or, maybe I'm just getting to old for this.

You can.
You just have to upload your image to image sharing site first (imgur.com).
