Something's not going to work with that coil missing. They are typically used in VRM circuits, in series with the voltage output of a phase so if missing there's no output at all from that phase.

It doesn't look like one for the VCore or VSoc VRM, which would be much bigger physically on a CHVIII. Those are multi-phase VRM's so it might work, if poorly, with one of those missing. Being as small as it is it's more likely for something else which is also a single phase VRM so that circuit would be non-functional without the inductor. Possibly an NVME possibly the chipset, possibly a memory DIMM.
