I never click suspiscious stuff. I'm very careful with everything... I get more than 10 scammer messages a day on my steam and never clicked any disguised link like scr files disguised as jpeg, but something got in my pc....

Are you guys having this problem with adblock? Some sites I get in, it doesnt block completely an Ad that shows up in the middle of the screen, it blocks the content but there is still a borderline with the option to close it.

my friend isn't having the same problem, so it's something on my pc. I checked if there was something installed here with my revo unintaller but there is nothing new.

I'm running a quick scan with windows defender to check for malwares(FINISHED AND DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING =/). Any other tip? or someone that had the same problem?

Solution
This would be the adblocking stopping the image loading, but not doing anything about the frame it was supposed to appear in. The website is trying to show you the ad in that frame, but it has no image to do so. It only realises this after the frame is loaded however, so the frame stays there.

Adblock generally just disables loading images from certain sources. Mainly the databases of the ad sites, including obviously ad-based code on some websites. I would reckon your friend would get the same result on the same site on the same browser if the same ad was loaded. Don't worry about it, there's nothing wrong here.

As a sidenote, please remember to support sites you like. Ad revenue is important especially for little sites. That's my lot.

this borderline is showing up in lots of different sites always on the same place. I usually enable the adds on small youtube channels I like, to support them.

Adblock, Dota 2 Lounge autobump, Brank of Brasil and google docs.

I already deactivated all of them and tested, the only thing that changes is that when I uncheck the AdBlock one, the ad shows up inside the borderline.

I just installed avast free and malwarebytes anti-malware and I'm running a scan with both...

if it doesn't work I'll try to go back to the last restoration point on my PC. If it doesn't work, I'll format.
