Hi all
My device is Samsung Galaxy Book 12 and it is now out of warranty. Had a bad case of vertical banding on it but Samsung "fixed" it by replacing one display with another and now I have this weird square.
Can someone please tell me what it is, how it came to be and whether it can be fixed without sending it to Samsung?

On green and blue colors it's almost invisible but otherwise it's there. It's not one pixel but a square cluster of pixels. The pixels are not dead (off) or stuck on any particular R/G/B color. This totally mystifies me. Like there is something behind the display itself that illuminates that area.
Thank you
