We recently moved into a house and I noticed that near the fusebox is a dual port box mounted on the wall with two white CAT5E cables running into the ceiling/walls.
Since I can't trace the cables at the moment, I thought someone might have an idea what this is for:
There doesnt appear to be a patch panel anywhere in the home and there is a port on the main floor that fits an RJ45 cable but doesnt provide any network connectivity.
We live in Canada and I believe the home is at least 15y/o
