What is too hot?

Hello,

I recently bought a Dell Precision M4500 from eBay. Real Temp says I'm averaging around 60C for normal activities, and I wouldn't be surprised if it rises to 70C or even 75C during intense CPU activities. Is this too hot? I also use a Cooler Master cooling pad.

90C is too hot. Laptops tend to run hotter. A cooling pad helps, but I think you are okay.

make srure you shot down often enough and let it cool as ive seen people never turn off their laptops and start to break things

I'm pretty good about turning it off every night and most of the time when I'm not using it. I rarely use sleep mode, just use it for 30 minutes or less of no use, anything more and I turn it off.
